It has become a year round hobby.  We have joined www.planetchristmas.com and www.texaschristmaslights.com which are sites devoted to the year round exchange of ideas to improve Christmas Displays.

It took more than three weekends to set up the display this year.

We have set up a computer network in our front yard using a system developed and sold by Animated Lighting, Inc.   Special software allows us to select which lights we want on, off, etc. for each beat of the song.  The music is played by an MP3 player which is connected to a low powered FM Radio Transmitter which enables you to hear the music on your car radio on 88.9 FM..
